Anglesey, Menai Suspension Bridge c1900's

Menai Bridge is famed mostly for the spectacular bridges located nearby. Thomas Telford built what at the time was the longest suspension bridge, later to be followed by Stephenson's tubular railway bridge, now a revamped road and rail bridge. The Welsh name for Menai Bridge is Porthaethwy.
