Anglesey, Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll c1905 - the building on the right is the old school, and is where the new school now stands. The photographer would have had his back to the toll house.

Long famed as having the longest placename in the world, Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll also has the Marquess of Anglesey column which was erected on the location of a site of ancient Welsh importance. The village is known locally as Llanfair P.G.
