The photos on this page are courtesy of Mr. Gordon Brown. His Grandmother - Edith Minshull - was born in Mold in 1875. She was the daughter of William Minshull, who was born in Northop in 1835. William's wife Anne was born in Llanddona on Anglesey. William and Anne Minshull lived in King Street Police Station in 1881, and at that time had four daughters and four sons. William was the Police Inspector in Mold, having previously served in Liverpool and Caerwys. Edith married Charles Henry Brown in 1900.
