Glamorgan, Llantrisant, The Lamb and Flag Public House

The above image of Llantrisant is kindy shared with us from the collection of Mr. Gerrard Gyngell, whose parents were once the landlords.

The Lamb and Flag was actually in Castellau, Beddau. The premises caught fire on the 13th of December 1998, which destroyed the interior; since then it has been converted to a private dwelling.

If you have any photographs of the interior of these premises prior to the fire, I would be extremely interested in seeing them. My Great Great Grandfather - Richard Davies - is reputed to have made the wooden furniture, inscribed with his name, presumably also lost in the fire. email address here.
