Glamorgan, Maesteg, Talbot Street 1960's. Whilst the images below are not old, the subject is almost 100 years old, and of historic importance to Maesteg. On October 15th 1915, this silver trowel was presented by the architect - J. Humphreys Esquire to G. Lipscomb Esquire, Justice of the Peace, on his laying the first foundation stone of Maesteg Cottage Hospital. - These images were kindly shared with us by Mr. Dean Mears.
