Herefordshire, Hereford, The Cathedral City c1930's

Hereford is the county seat of Herefordshire. Not a large city, it has more of an atmosphere of a large town, and it is a place where I personally always feel at home and at ease with. I was stationed here in the forces back in 1970, and whenever I return to Hereford I always feel at home.

Hereford is of course well known as the home of the SAS (Special Air Service) - our most elite of British Forces Regiments. Just in case there are any suspicions, the only SAS I would get in would be the Salvation Army Seconds.
