Somerset is home to many important and well known places like Wells, and Wells Cathedral is one of the most beautiful in the country, whilst the attraction of the Cheddar Gorge is everlasting. Bath is the home of some wonderful old buildings, remnants of the Roman occupation. Taunton is probably most renowned nowadays for its' excellent cider. And there is of course Glastonbury, - the place where Christianity was first introduced to this country in the first century, and also where the legend of King Arthur lives on.
