Surrey, Limpsfield, FS, Doris and Marjorie 1899.

Both of the above images are kindly shared with us from the collection of Mr. Ben Hall.
Being interested in family history research, I realised that the baby - Marjorie - would have been born in the Summer of 1899, so I looked for her birth in this area. I found a Marjorie Ivy Smith born at the right time. I looked for a Doris Smith born in the same place, and there was a Doris Edith Smith - born in 1894. That would make Doris above aged about 5 in the photo. I looked for a marriage prior to Doris's birth and came up with a Fanny Poole marrying a Thomas Smith in early 1893. Thus, Fanny Poole became Fanny Smith (F.S.) - I wonder?
